Abstract

The protein inhibitor of activated signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (PIAS3) is a member of the PIAS family of proteins involved in the regulation of transcriptional activity of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 STAT3 proteins, which activate transcription of genes involved in cell growth, proliferation and apoptosis.
